Hi there; welcome to Bronwyn Eastley Designs . Today I taught a Fancy Folds Cards Class at Bev's Cross Crafts in Spreyton, Tasmania. 'Coffee in Paris' Pop-Out Panel Cards

Image
Hi and welcome to my blog. I'm back with my second Design Team project for the month of May. Today I have a set of cards to share with you that showcase the cute  Coffee in Paris Collection  from  Paper Rose Studio . I decided to use my  Pop-Out Panel Card  design and add a decorative belly band for the closure. The rectangular graphics were cut out from one of the sheets of 12x12 paper as they were just the right size for this fun card fold. To complete the design I glued some embossed die-cuts to the middle pop-out panel section, one to the belly band and another to the envelope for all three cards. On the reverse side of the cover for the 12x12 pack there are a heap of sentiments to choose from so I chose a different one (and different colour) for each card and fussy cut them to add to the belly bands. Make sure you hop on over to my You Tube Channel and check out the instructional video so you can make a  Pop-Out Panel Card  too! Card Featured in V...

Morning Memories Folio

Image
Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing a folio that I made using the gorgeous Morning Memories Collection from Paper Rose Studio. This is my first Design Team project for the month of May and I chose to use this stunning collection because I love coffee, the beach and the colour blue ... so ultimately ... it was my 'dream' assignment! About two months ago I attended a  Folio Class  with  LJ's Crafty Corner  at  Bev's Cross Crafts  in Spreyton. It was SO much fun to re-visit some paper crafting techniques that I hadn't done for a while ... like using a Crop-a-dile for eyelets and making paper embellishments for the signature binding etc. The folio took a couple of days for me to complete with so many extra additions but I was super chuffed with the end result. This time around I added a small gusset to the middle fold in the cover as I knew the contents were going to be a bit bulky - The scalloped edging on some of the pockets etc. was die-cut from...

A Gatefold Card with a Butterfly Easel and Pocket for the May Funky Folds Blog Hop

Image
Hi and welcome to the May 2025 Funky Folds Blog Hop. This is the first 'new' blog post that I've published since starting this blog, Bronwyn Eastley Designs .  My AddINKtive Designs website will be closing at the end of June as the costs are ridiculously expensive to maintain. Nowadays I give away more tutorials than I sell ... which I'm more than happy to do. I'd rather start afresh and not feel like I have to keep on selling tutorials just to keep my website going. I love being on the Design Team for Paper Rose Studio and I'll be focusing more on sharing my projects on You Tube and INSTA ... and here of course!  So today marks the beginning of a new era. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by. The Funky Folds group consists of like minded paper crafters who love to make projects with fun folds. Funky actually means "modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way"... so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square po...

Trellis Fence Z-Fold Cards for Paper Rose Studio

Image
Hi paper lovers; I'm excited to share my second Design Team assignment for April.  This time around I've chosen to showcase the  Trellis Fence Metal Cutting Die  and the gorgeous  Arabella's Garden 6x6 Paper Collection  in my set of Z-Fold Cards. The cute  Mother's Day Gnomes Embossed Die-Cuts , along with the  Flower Set 1 Daisy Metal Cutting Die  also feature on all three cards. A different floral pattern was chosen for each card, along with a different way to use the  Trellis Fence Metal Cutting Die . Upright Z-Fold Card Putting a Z-Fold in a 'portrait' position gives the card fold a whole different look! Trellis Fence Z-Fold Box Card All the flowers, leaves and grass were die-cut from the beautiful  Nature Stroll 2.0 Patterned Paper  and the tiny blue butterflies and sentiments were fussy cut from  Arabella's Garden Patterned Paper. Planter Box Z-Fold Box Card Using the  Trellis Fence Die  to make a Planter Box wi...
