'Little Bakers' Bitty Bakery Cupcake Box

Image
Welcome to Spring in my part of the world. I'm starting off the month with a very cute 3D project. It's a forerunner to a DT project that I made which will be published on the 8th September (I cannot wait to share that one with you!). So here's a little peek at some new products from Paper Rose Studio -  Little Bakers Collection! While searching for some 'bakery themed' ideas, I came across this FREE TEMPLATE for a Bitty Bakery Cupcake Box from MadeByMarzipan  (with an accompanying video tutorial on YouTube). It was so much fun to put together. If you look closely I've popped a tray of choc chip cookies in the oven ( Little Bakers Embossed Die-Cuts ). How adorable is that! The oven mitt was cut down to size and I added a cute little chef as a prop. Some lovely paper from the collection was added to the sides of the oven and I lined out the inside of the box with some dark grey squares of metallic foil. I decided not to use this box for my next Design Team submi...

Stamperia 'Dewdrops' Journal

Image
Hi and welcome to my blog.  I recently attended a class at Bev's Cross Crafts in Spreyton taken by LJ's Crafty Corner . In this class we made an easy journal and writing board. The journal featured a chipboard cover with a fabric spine and three signatures were sewn with a pamphlet stitch. We also made a laminated writing board to use in the journal.   I chose to use the Dewdrops Collection of papers and rub-on transfers from Stamperia . 'Silent Sea' Double Pocket Hidden Paper Clip for a Tags & Envelopes Folio

Image
Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm back with yet another 'Silent Sea' Tags & Envelopes Folio! This THIRD one was a commissioned project; I decided to 'switch it up' a bit by adding a Double Pocket Hidden Paper Clip to the inside. Hidden paperclips refer to paperclips that have been embellished or covered with paper, fabric etc. to create decorative pockets or 'charms', often used for junk journaling and scrapbooking. These altered paperclips are a trending craft item, with many tutorials available on YouTube that demonstrate various techniques to create unique designs for adding to journals, cards, folios and other decorative projects. This version of a hidden paperclip is attached to a bellyband on the fourth page of the folio. The unique double pocket for this style of paperclip was designed by Pinkstrawberryz and you can see her fantastic tutorial on Youtube - Pinkstrawberryz - Flip Floppy Double Pocket Hidden Paper Clips Tutorial Junk Journaling ht...

Fairytale Christmas Shaker Cards

Image
Hi and welcome to Bronwyn Eastley Designs (formerly known as AddINKtive Designs). I'm so glad that you've found your way to my current blog. Please spread the word that I've moved back to Blogger and follow along if you're able to ... This year I have the wonderful privilege of being on the Design Team for Paper Rose Studio . If you haven't come across their gorgeous range of paper collections, metal cutting dies etc. you really should do yourself a favour and check out their website. They have some very cute collections including Fairytale Christmas which I'm featuring today in my second DT project for the month of August. Aren't those images from the Quick Cards Collection adorable? I looked at the Inspo Sheet in the pack, followed the suggested layout for three of the designs and added a shaker element to each one. CARD 1 I decided to make the card bases from the Sea Mist Shimmer Cardstock (such a gorgeous colour and so shimmery). CARD 2 The shaker ele...

Poppy Garden Mini Tags & Envelopes Folio

Image
Hi and welcome to my blog. I'm back with my first Design Team Project for the month of August; a mini version of a Tags & Envelopes Folio. I chose to feature the gorgeous papers and embossed die-cuts from the Poppy Garden Collection from Paper Rose Studio , along with the very versatile  Stitched Tags Metal Cutting Dies .  I learned how to make the larger folio in a class taken by my lovely friend Lynne at LJ’s Crafty Corner , so I adapted the  design to use with 6x6 papers. Smaller envelopes were used in this project - a notecard and a standard card size (C6). The folio design consists of a small tag for the front cover, a larger tag for the back cover and the two different sized envelopes for the middle pages, joined together with an inside hinge and sewn together with a pamphlet stitch using wax thread. Let's take a look at all the pages - Isn't this collection gorgeous!! Poppies, birds, butterflies, scenic landscapes, vintage background papers ... a truly beautifu...

Poppy Garden 6x6 Easel Card for August Funky Folds Blog Hop

Image
Hi and welcome to the August 2025 Funky Folds Blog Hop.  The Funky Folds group consists of like minded paper crafters who love to make projects with fun folds. Funky actually means "modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way"... so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think 'easel', 'pop-up', 'gatefold', 'z-fold', 'shaped' or 3D cards etc. The list is endless ... and it now includes journals, albums etc. All Blog Hops have an 'anything goes' theme using any type of 'funky' fold and today I'm sharing a 6x6 Easel Card featuring the gorgeous Poppy Garden Collection from Paper Rose Studio . If you love to make cards, journals, albums etc. with creative folds and would like to  participate  in our monthly  Funky Folds Blog Hop , you are welcome to join up through our community group on  Facebook  -  facebook.com/groups/funkyfoldsbloghops Making a large...
