Strawberry Friends Bridge Fold Slider Cards

Image
Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing my latest Design Team Project - a set of slider cards featuring the very cute Strawberry Friends Collection from Paper Rose Studio . Every slider mechanism has been placed on a Bridge Fold and when each animal is pulled along the slider, a 'secret' message is revealed.  Card 1 - Thanks - You Are Sweet Card 2 - Hugs - Get Well Soon Card 3 - Hello - Happy Birthday The cards are so easy to embellish with some cute critters from the pack of Strawberry Friends Embossed Die-Cuts and some gorgeous coordinating papers from the 6x6 pack. I've also used some brand new stamps and dies from the Stacked Sentiments range which make it so easy to choose an appropriate greeting for each card. Tags & Envelopes Folios for Funky Folds Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the July 2025 Funky Folds Blog Hop.  The Funky Folds group consists of like minded paper crafters who love to make projects with fun folds. Funky actually means "modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way"... so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think 'easel', 'pop-up', 'gatefold', 'z-fold', 'shaped' or 3D cards etc. The list is endless ... and it now includes journals, albums etc. All Blog Hops have an 'anything goes' theme using any type of 'funky' fold and today I'm sharing a couple of Tags & Envelopes Folios . I learned how to make this type of folio at a recent craft class taken by LJ's Crafty Corner .  If you love to make cards, journals, albums etc. with creative folds and would like to  participate  in our monthly  Funky Folds Blog Hop , you are welcome to join up through our community group on  Facebook  -  face...

Vintage Rose Camera Box Card with Slider

Image
Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I have a cute, interactive card to share with you; it's a Camera Box Card with Slider . I designed this type of 3D card a few years ago for my daughter's birthday and thought it would be fun to make it again using some gorgeous products from Paper Rose Studio . My first Design Team Assignment for June was to highlight the Vintage Rose Collection and it was actually the camera image from the packet of embossed die-cuts that became the inspiration for this project. The main camera shape was created using an Envelope Punch Board and embellished using the pretty papers from the Vintage Rose 6x6 Paper Collection . The images on the film strip slider section were die-cut from the packet cover! ... ... and the box card was filled with beautiful images from the packet of Vintage Rose Embossed Die-Cuts . I chose some metal cutting dies that would work well for the camera lens, button and slider and finished the project by adding a sentiment from the Blac...
