Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing another folio that I learned how to make in a class taken by LJ's Crafty Corner . You've already seen the Tags & Envelopes Folio as I've made a few more of those since attending the class. This was the first one we made and it only required one sheet of 12x12 paper - an Easy Interactive Folio . Silent Sea from Stamperia was my paper of choice and I love how this one turned out. It has a front flap piece which extends to the underside to form a couple of pockets. A little notebook was added to the inside using a pamphlet stitch and some wax thread. A small belly band was attached to the front cover (under the flap), a corner pocket to the back-inside cover and then it was all tied together with a circle closure and some twine. This is such a lovely design that I made another one over the weekend with some new papers from 49 and Market . More about that one on another day! Thanks for stopping by,

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm back with yet another 'Silent Sea' Tags & Envelopes Folio! This THIRD one was a commissioned project; I decided to 'switch it up' a bit by adding a Double Pocket Hidden Paper Clip to the inside. Hidden paperclips refer to paperclips that have been embellished or covered with paper, fabric etc. to create decorative pockets or 'charms', often used for junk journaling and scrapbooking. These altered paperclips are a trending craft item, with many tutorials available on YouTube that demonstrate various techniques to create unique designs for adding to journals, cards, folios and other decorative projects. This version of a hidden paperclip is attached to a bellyband on the fourth page of the folio. Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm back with another Tags & Envelopes Folio to share. This one is made with the Silent Sea Backgrounds Papers and Cards Collection . If you've been following along you'll know that I learned how to make these cute folios at a craft class taken by my lovely friend, Lynne from LJ's Crafty Corner . The folio design consists of a small tag for the front cover, a larger tag for the back cover and two different sized envelopes for the middle pages, joined together with an inside hinge and sewn together with a signature stitch using wax thread. This is the second one that I've made featuring the gorgeous 8x8 and 12x12 papers from Stamperia's Silent Sea . I love how Lynne has designed this type of folio with lots of pockets and a belly band inside the back cover.  I changed this one a smidge by incorporating some of the Background Papers from the Silent Sea Collection, using a magnetic closure on one of the flaps and adding tags,...
