'Dear Isabella' Double Easel Card with Hexagon Window

Hi and welcome to Bronwyn Eastley Designs. I'm back with another Double Easel Card, this time featuring the Dear Isabella Collection from Paper Rose Studio.

A few days ago I shared the Bees & Butterflies version of this type of card; it was one of the projects I made as a Guest Designer for Paper Rose Studio.


I designed this card as a prelude to the one I made for the Bees & Butterflies Collection. It was a fun way of doing a practice run with a different collection of papers and embossed die-cuts.

Easy Interactive Folio - Nature Stroll 2 from Paper Rose Studio

I love Fairy Wrens (especially Tasmania's Superb Fairy-wren) so I was naturally drawn to this beautiful collection from the Nature Stroll range of products from Paper Rose Studio .  While attending Paperific in Melbourne I visited the Paper Rose Studio Stand and got my hands on the beautiful Nature Stroll 2, 12 x 12 Paper Collection and Die-Cuts .  The collection has beautiful images of Australian flora and fauna and I chose a gorgeous sheet of paper with bold proteas on one side and a delicate floral pattern on the reverse side to make another Easy Interactive Folio. This example has a large brad with twine closure at the front of the flap and a small pocket and tag on the inside. Attached to the belly band is a Hidden Paper Clip made with the Nesting Label 2 Metal Cutting Die.  The notebook was sewn together with some wax thread using a pamphlet stitch and some punched circles were glued to the ends for extra embellishment.  A corner pocket was glued to the bac...

Thankful Florals - STAMPtember Collab with Simon Says Stamps and Paper Rose Studio

Welcome to the #STAMPtember Collaboration with Simon Says Stamps and Paper Rose Studio . Today I'm sharing a beautiful Stamp Set called Thankful Florals . It has gorgeous floral and leafy images and loads of sentiments for all occasions! It's been a while since I've coloured in a stamped image so I was a little rusty. I went with my favourite colouring technique, combining watercolour pencils with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. The coloured images take 'centre stage' on this fun fold which is called a Pop-Up Gatefold Card . I was inspired by a video tutorial on You Tube by Sam Calcott from Mixed Up Craft .
