Easy Interactive Folio - Botanical Buzz

Welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing another Easy Interactive Folio. I picked up this gorgeous pack of papers and rub on transfers from The Paper Hive and was keen to make something with them. The collection from 49 and Market is called Botanical Buzz and it's bee-utiful!

This folio was constructed from the 'Delicate' (#DBV-32284) sheet of paper from the collection. It has a front flap piece with a large brad closure, held together with some wrapped twine.

A small pocket to hold a tag was added to the inside flap to cover the brad's metal fasteners and a sentiment from the Rub-on Transfers pack was placed on the front cover.

A small belly band was attached to the inside cover (of the notebook section) to hold a hidden paper clip constructed from a couple of the rectangular images from the 'Blooming' (#DBV-32338) sheet of paper.

The notebook was sewn together with some wax thread using a pamphlet stitch and some punched circles were glued to the ends for extra embellishment.

A corner pocket was glued to the back-inside cover and some rub-on transfers were added to various pages throughout the folio.

The front flap piece extended to the underside of the folio to form the two main pockets.

I love making folios as an alternative to cards as they make lovely gifts for just about any occasion.

Here's a pic of the inside showing the flap, hidden paper clip and notebook.
