Lakeside Memories 'Honeycomb' Pop-Out Card

Hi and welcome to my blog. This month we celebrated a special birthday in the Eastley family. My brother-in-law turned 80 and I made a card with papers from the Lakeside Memories Collection.


This type of card fold is called a Honeycomb Pop-Out Card which I found on Susan Campfield's channel (link below). 


I made this Lakeside Memories Card to the US greeting card size (A2) - 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" as demonstrated in the video. Spoiler alert ... next month I'll be sharing some larger Honeycomb Pop-Out Cards that I have modified to showcase 6x6 papers.

Boho Baby Z-Fold Card and Zig-Zag Album with Pop-Up Crib

Hi there. Welcome to my blog.  This month I was assigned the absolutely adorable Boho Baby Collection to 'work' with for Paper Rose Studio. I love the beautiful neutrals and greens in the collection and wanted to feature as many of the papers and embossed die-cuts that I could.  For the first project I decided to make a Z-Fold card with a pop-up baby crib.  Boho Baby Z-Fold Card I've made a few that are similar in construction but this one is a little different because I've made the crib with the Stirling Fence Metal Cutting Die . You can see how I constructed it further down in this post. I didn't need to add a lot of die-cuts to the card as the beautiful patterned paper is so detailed; I love the cute toy box scene! A rectangular die-cut was added to the back of the card to provide a space to write a message. To finish off the card I glued a cute embossed die-cut to the envelope. My second project, a Zig-Zag Album, also has a pop-up baby crib on the inside cover....

Hi and welcome to the May 2025 Funky Folds Blog Hop. This is the first 'new' blog post that I've published since starting this blog, Bronwyn Eastley Designs .  My AddINKtive Designs website will be closing at the end of June as the costs are ridiculously expensive to maintain.
