Stamperia 'Dewdrops' Journal

Hi and welcome to my blog. 

I recently attended a class at Bev's Cross Crafts in Spreyton taken by LJ's Crafty Corner.

In this class we made an easy journal and writing board. The journal featured a chipboard cover with a fabric spine and three signatures were sewn with a pamphlet stitch. We also made a laminated writing board to use in the journal. 

I chose to use the Dewdrops Collection of papers and rub-on transfers from Stamperia.

'Fairytale Christmas' Fun Fold Cards for A5 Cardstock and 6x6 Papers

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing three fun-fold cards made with products from the Fairytale Christmas Collection from Paper Rose Studio . This type of card fold is perfect to 'show off' those scenic 6x6 papers and can be easily embellished with some very cute, embossed die-cuts.  A big shout out to Claire from Created the Ottaway for this brilliant fun fold idea! I have a link to Claire's instructional video further down in the post. I'm always on the look out for card folds that make 6x6 papers 'shine' as I have containers full of paper packs/pads that size. I love Claire's design but altered her measurements slightly to suit a card base constructed from an A5 piece of cardstock . Paper Rose Studio have quite a few A5 packs of different coloured cardstock and I've chosen one of my favourites for today's projects, the absolutely beautiful Sea Mist Shimmer Cardstock.
