Cityscape Superhero Card

Hi and welcome to 'Bronwyn Eastley Designs'. Today I'm sharing a fun card that I made a while back; it was a commissioned project for a 30th Birthday, Superhero themed party! 

I made a Square Double Z-Fold as the card base and added some yellow cardstock behind the black Cityscape buildings. Some windows were coloured in with a black alcohol marker.
Comic Strip Elements were added to the skyline and envelope which were made from Gold Glimmer and Black Cardstock.
As the recipient was a 'guy' I omitted the 'pigtail buns' on the Girl Power Stamp and coloured it in with alcohol markers. The superhero was fussy cut and attached to an insert within the box card section.

'Joy to the World' Star Card for Paper Rose Studio

Welcome to my blog; today I'm sharing a really special Christmas Card for my last Paper Rose Studio Design Team Project for 2025. It brings together two fun folds and is the brain child of the very talented Tina Zinck, also known as The Serene Stamper . Merry & Bright Bendy Fold Cards for Paper Rose Studio

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing three types of Bendy Fold Cards featuring the Merry & Bright Collection .  I took inspiration for the first two projects from Sam Calcott (Mixed Up Crafts) and submitted them for my latest Design Team Projects for December. 1. Slimline Tiered Bendy Card I cut a slimline card in half for the base of this one and scored it along the length at the halfway mark (4-1/8"). Two pieces of patterned paper, each measuring (H)3-3/4" x (W)4" were glued on for the background.  Go and watch Sam's video to see how she constructed this type of card and I've popped the measurements and score marks of the bendy pieces here for easy reference - 1. 9-1/4" x 1" (score at 1/2" and 8-3/4"), 2. 8-1/4" x 1-1/4" (score at 1/2" and 7-3/4"), 3. 7-1/4" x 1-1/2" (score at 1/2" and 6-3/4"). Stamperia's Silent Sea Tags & Envelopes Folio

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm back with another Tags & Envelopes Folio to share. This one is made with the Silent Sea Backgrounds Papers and Cards Collection . If you've been following along you'll know that I learned how to make these cute folios at a craft class taken by my lovely friend, Lynne from LJ's Crafty Corner . The folio design consists of a small tag for the front cover, a larger tag for the back cover and two different sized envelopes for the middle pages, joined together with an inside hinge and sewn together with a signature stitch using wax thread. This is the second one that I've made featuring the gorgeous 8x8 and 12x12 papers from Stamperia's Silent Sea .
