Cityscape Superhero Card

Hi and welcome to 'Bronwyn Eastley Designs'. Today I'm sharing a fun card that I made a while back; it was a commissioned project for a 30th Birthday, Superhero themed party! 

I made a Square Double Z-Fold as the card base and added some yellow cardstock behind the black Cityscape buildings. Some windows were coloured in with a black alcohol marker.
Comic Strip Elements were added to the skyline and envelope which were made from Gold Glimmer and Black Cardstock.
As the recipient was a 'guy' I omitted the 'pigtail buns' on the Girl Power Stamp and coloured it in with alcohol markers. The superhero was fussy cut and attached to an insert within the box card section.

Christmas Tree Farm 'Honeycomb' Pop-Out Cards

Welcome to my blog; I'm super excited to share my latest Design Team project for Paper Rose Studio.  I've made a couple of Honeycomb Pop-Out Cards  (original design by Susan Campfield) and have adapted the measurements for a 6x6 card base. They feature the gorgeous papers and embossed die-cuts from the Christmas Tree Farm Collection . Card Number 1 - Window Decorations The window scene wasn't central on the paper so I adjusted the order of the panels to suit this type of card fold then added a Christmas Tree Embossed Die-Cut to the stabiliser piece. The sentiment is from the pack of 'First Christmas' die-cuts and I added the poinsettia, bells and holly for some extra embellishment. There's plenty of room on the back of the card to write a greeting and the side panels have been embellished with some festive paper and an embossed die-cut. 'Little Bakers' Bitty Bakery Cupcake Box

Welcome to Spring in my part of the world. I'm starting off the month with a very cute 3D project. It's a forerunner to a DT project that I made which will be published on the 8th September (I cannot wait to share that one with you!). So here's a little peek at some new products from Paper Rose Studio -  Little Bakers Collection! While searching for some 'bakery themed' ideas, I came across this FREE TEMPLATE for a Bitty Bakery Cupcake Box from MadeByMarzipan  (with an accompanying video tutorial on YouTube). It was so much fun to put together. If you look closely I've popped a tray of choc chip cookies in the oven ( Little Bakers Embossed Die-Cuts ). How adorable is that! The oven mitt was cut down to size and I added a cute little chef as a prop. Some lovely paper from the collection was added to the sides of the oven and I lined out the inside of the box with some dark grey squares of metallic foil.
