Christmas Tree Farm 'Honeycomb' Pop-Out Cards

Welcome to my blog; I'm super excited to share my latest Design Team project for Paper Rose Studio. 


I've made a couple of Honeycomb Pop-Out Cards (original design by Susan Campfield) and have adapted the measurements for a 6x6 card base. They feature the gorgeous papers and embossed die-cuts from the Christmas Tree Farm Collection.

Card Number 1 - Window Decorations


The window scene wasn't central on the paper so I adjusted the order of the panels to suit this type of card fold then added a Christmas Tree Embossed Die-Cut to the stabiliser piece.


The sentiment is from the pack of 'First Christmas' die-cuts and I added the poinsettia, bells and holly for some extra embellishment.


There's plenty of room on the back of the card to write a greeting and the side panels have been embellished with some festive paper and an embossed die-cut.


Card Number 2 - On the Farm


For the second card I decided to add a 'stabiliser' piece to the top as well as the bottom section. I really love the way it turned out! It's perfect to add some extra dimension.


It's the cute animals in the collection that made me fall in love with Christmas Tree Farm; so adorable!


This is quickly becoming my favourite card fold (for this year anyway) ... such a cool design with so many possibilities. I have another variation of this design to share on the 18th so be sure to come back and check that one out.

Poppy Garden Pop-Up Gatefold Card

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing the third card (out of 4) that I made for a Fun Folds Class  way back in July.  The card fold is called a  Pop-Up Gatefold  and this size is great for showing off those 6x6 papers you have in your stash. I have written instructions for this project which is part of a Tutorial Bundle. Just use the contact form on my blog to request a copy. Back I chose some beautiful scenic papers from the Poppy Garden Collection for the background and the pop-up section is full of beautiful poppy embossed die-cuts behind the picket fence. 'Little Bakers' Bitty Bakery Cupcake Box

Welcome to Spring in my part of the world. I'm starting off the month with a very cute 3D project. It's a forerunner to a DT project that I made which will be published on the 8th September (I cannot wait to share that one with you!). So here's a little peek at some new products from Paper Rose Studio -  Little Bakers Collection! While searching for some 'bakery themed' ideas, I came across this FREE TEMPLATE for a Bitty Bakery Cupcake Box from MadeByMarzipan  (with an accompanying video tutorial on YouTube). It was so much fun to put together. If you look closely I've popped a tray of choc chip cookies in the oven ( Little Bakers Embossed Die-Cuts ). How adorable is that! The oven mitt was cut down to size and I added a cute little chef as a prop. Some lovely paper from the collection was added to the sides of the oven and I lined out the inside of the box with some dark grey squares of metallic foil.
