Poppy Garden Pop-Up Gatefold Card

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing the third card (out of 4) that I made for a Fun Folds Class way back in July. 


The card fold is called a Pop-Up Gatefold and this size is great for showing off those 6x6 papers you have in your stash.

I chose some beautiful scenic papers from the Poppy Garden Collection for the background and the pop-up section is full of beautiful poppy embossed die-cuts behind the picket fence.

Merry & Bright Bendy Fold Cards for Paper Rose Studio

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing three types of Bendy Fold Cards featuring the Merry & Bright Collection .  I took inspiration for the first two projects from Sam Calcott (Mixed Up Crafts) and submitted them for my latest Design Team Projects for December. 1. Slimline Tiered Bendy Card I cut a slimline card in half for the base of this one and scored it along the length at the halfway mark (4-1/8"). Two pieces of patterned paper, each measuring (H)3-3/4" x (W)4" were glued on for the background.  Go and watch Sam's video to see how she constructed this type of card and I've popped the measurements and score marks of the bendy pieces here for easy reference - 1. 9-1/4" x 1" (score at 1/2" and 8-3/4"), 2. 8-1/4" x 1-1/4" (score at 1/2" and 7-3/4"), 3. 7-1/4" x 1-1/2" (score at 1/2" and 6-3/4").
