Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing my second Paper Rose Studio Design Team Project for July; it's a Pinwheel Card made with 4-3/4" square envelopes and features the very cute, Sewing Gnomes Embossed Die-Cuts and the Pastel Patterns 1.0, 6x6 Paper Collection.

How to Make the Pinwheel Card Base
1. Cut a piece of cardstock the same height as the envelopes you're wanting to use by 5 inches wide.
2. Score at 1" intervals along the width, mountain fold eacb score line and crease with a Bone Folder.
3. Glue the two ends together to form a rectangular prism.
4. Glue an envelope to each side of the rectangular prism to form a 'pinwheel' as shown. Decide which way you'd like the envelope flaps to face.
5. Cover each section with patterned paper leaving an 1/8" border and cover each envelope flap without leaving a border.
6. Embellish with extra pockets or smaller envelopes if desired, die-cut squares and leaves, buttons and the cute, Sewing Gnomes Embossed Die-Cuts.
7. Make a custom envelope from 12x12 papers or thin white cardstock.
